Why Suikoden and Vandal Hearts were PS1 MASTERPIECES!

Talk about Suikoden is man vs man, on the opposite sides of the war, defending their home towns. You can relate to the terrifying decisions the characters have to make, to do whats right and fight against your upbringing, not turning a blind eye to the injustice in front of you. A corrupt emperor leading his empire into ruin for the sake of a ill intentioned witch who hungers for power. Talk about how Vandal Hearts makes every units uniqueness count and how each character really shows traits
