Maybe start with Tokyo and then transition to empty village?

I've never heard of this place, how will you introduce it to someone like me? Perhaps show a map and how far it is from key cities like Osaka and Tokyo

I’d definitely add a map early on, especially since most viewers won’t know where Tokushima or Nagoro Scarecrow Village is. Showing its distance from Tokyo, Osaka, or Kyoto would help people understand how remote it is and why that remoteness matters to the story. It also gives the video a stronger travel-planning angle.

This is the strongest of the Japan ideas to me because it has an actual mystery built in. I would not open with too much explanation. Start with the strange visual first: empty village, human-looking figures, quiet streets. Let the viewer think "what am I looking at?" before you explain it. Then the video can widen out: 1. what the village feels like when you arrive 2. why the scarecrows exist 3. who still lives or maintains it 4. what this says about rural Japan 5. whether tourism helps or makes it weird That last point could make the video more thoughtful than a normal "creepy Japan place" upload. I would also be careful with the title. "Tokushima's Scarecrow Village" is clear, but maybe there is a stronger curiosity version: "The Japanese village where dolls outnumber people" or similar.
