This is always going to perform well because the world loves Fish and Chips! Are you actually going to travel to distant locations in the same video or is it going to be an ongoing series, 1 shop at a time? Definitely recommend you build up some catchy catchphrases to stand out to your audience week in week out

This is really fun! Lean into the Britishness of it all, using slang like "chippy" - the international audience will love that. It would be fun to talk about the side things that most people forget (vinegar, curry sauce, pickled eggs - do they change the feel of the meal?)

Your opening hook is great - it's visually distinct, and it shows the food preparation process, which is interesting. I think your ending needs a bit of work. Perhaps invite the viewers to link in their favourite places for you to review? Or have them give their order in the comments.

Let your personality shine, it's what will keep recurring viewers. Tell anecdotes, jokes, criticisms, but don't force it too much - people can tell what is genuine and what isn't

This is the kind of video where the food shots probably matter more than the claim in the title. If you are only doing one city or area, I would own that in the title. Something like "I tried the most recommended fish and chips in London" feels easier to believe than "best in the UK." For the actual video, I would want a close shot where the batter cracks, then the inside of the fish, the chips, the sauce, and the price on screen. You probably do not need a big scoring system. Just show the food clearly and say which one you would actually go back to.
