Hook

Imagine having a billion-dollar stadium, hosting Beyoncé, winning the Europa League just last year... and then getting relegated to the Championship. Sounds impossible, right? Well, welcome to Tottenham Hotspur's 2025/26 season. With just six games left, three managers down, and zero league wins in 2026, Spurs are currently sitting in the relegation zone in 18th place. Today, we're looking at the numbers, the chaos, and answering the biggest question in English football right now: Will Tottenham actually go down?

High Level Video Summary

A deep dive into the disastrous 2025/26 Premier League season for Tottenham Hotspur. The video covers their drop to 18th place (30 points), the managerial carousel (Thomas Frank, Igor Tudor, and now Roberto De Zerbi), and their catastrophic run of 13 winless games. It breaks down the math of the current relegation scrap with West Ham, Nottingham Forest, and Leeds, and explores the financial ramifications (over $230m in potential losses) of a drop to the Championship, contrasted against their eli

Detailed Video Script

Intro: Show the current April 2026 Premier League table, highlighting Spurs in 18th. Explain the sheer gravity of a club of this stature sitting in the drop zone with six games left.

Section 1 - The Collapse: Discuss the 2025 Europa League hangover. How did they go from European champions to winless in 2026? Highlight the 13-game winless streak and the fact they haven't won at home since early December.

Section 2 - The Managerial Carousel: Analyze the sackings. Thomas Frank was let go in February. Igor Tudor's disastrous 44-day winless reign. Now, Roberto De Zerbi stepping in to try and save a sinking ship.

Section 3 - The Relegation Scrap: Look at the rivals. Wolves (17 pts) and Burnley (20 pts) are effectively gone. The real survival battle is Spurs (30), West Ham (32), Nottm Forest (33), and Leeds (36). Mention West Ham's recent 4-0 thrashing of Wolves under Nuno EspĂrito Santo that pushed Spurs back into the bottom three.

Section 4 - The Financial Reality: What happens if they drop? Discuss the massive immediate TV revenue loss, but contrast it with Daniel Levy's commercial empire (the stadium, NFL, concerts) that might cushion the blow and allow them to bounce straight back up.

Outro: Final prediction based on the supercomputer's 49.5% probability of relegation. Ask the audience in the comments if De Zerbi can pull off a miracle.

Target Audience

Premier League fans, Tottenham supporters (for the anxiety), Arsenal/Chelsea fans (for the schadenfreude), and football finance/stats nerds.

For clickbait raging, maybe draw in some comparisons - "We expect this from Norwich, not Spurs".

This sounds like a clean idea! Its relevant and will draw in a large amount of views. After the season is over, the video won't be as relevant - how will you balance this or does it not matter for you?

This is a very clickable idea because it has the perfect mix of shock, rivalry, panic, and numbers. Spurs being in a relegation fight feels so absurd that even neutral fans would want to watch just to understand how it happened. I’d definitely lean into the “this shouldn’t be possible” angle in the thumbnail/title.
